Twitter has come from being a new site to one of the most visited websites on the planet. All in a few months. Naturally it comes to the attention of Internet marketers.
Marketers go where the people are rather like vultures following a herd of deer!
Why the negative comparison? I have just run across a Twitter Spam software which opnes “unlimited” accounts and magically stuffs them with new “hungry” followers etc etc.
Since the CAN SPAM act limited the field of operation for spammers thy moved onto the social media.
So now we have Twitter Spam!
Here at Expertlistbuilding we believe and teach Optin list building.
That’s “OPT” as in optional.
Duh!
Spamming email accounts and twitter accounts is equally obnoxious. social media sites are clamping down on these antics.
Optin list builders hope they succeed.
Have you been spammed on Web 20 sites like Twitter or MySpace /FaceBook?

Chris Freville is of course the author of “Web 20 Stampede” and we were mighty glad to snag an interview. Kathy and me grilled Chris for over an hour on just about every aspect of the Social Media and Networking sites we could imagine.
Including twitter…
Part of “Web 20 Stampede” is a set of videos that take you through the most important of the web 2.0 sites.
I guess it is no surprise that Google is getting into Social Media, after all they bought YouTube and before that Blogger…
I am rather suspicious of Google. Maybe it’s their creepy motto, “Do no Evil” or maybe it’s because they are so big. Whatever!
Here is a video made by big G about some social widgets you can use to give your site some social or web 2.0 features.
Of course if you made your site from a WordPress Blog you can do this and more without involving your site with big G! Check out “Static Blogging” by Stacy and Christy for details, videos the lot!
Anyway, here is the video-let me know what you think-would you use this technology on your site?
